Fits US model 80 series 1/1990-12/1997. Non US with full float rear axle 40 series, FJ55, FJ60, BJ & HJ series, 1/1979-12/1987. This lock nut threads onto the end of the spindle. It is used to adjust and set wheel bearing preload, and it mechanically locks the lub to the spindle.
