This Permatex high strength spray adhesive is a must when installing those glued in headliners. This is the same adhesive we use in our own installation/restorations. NOTE: Two can will allow you to install a headliner in a FJ40. *Tech Tip: Spray both surfaces, and allow glue to set up for a few minutes. This is contact adhesive, so even if it feels dry to the touch, it will stick aggressively to itself on contact. There is no working time. As soon as it touches, it's stuck, so work in small sections, starting in the center, and working your way out toward the edges, smoothing as you go.
Stuff works great but once it is stuck it is stuck. If you are doing a head liner, I would suggest two or even three cans. One did not cover everything so now i have to redo part of it.
