This radio delete plate is a must need for that big empty hole in the dash of that 40.
It was reproduced to mimic the factory plate that in most cases was removed and lost over the years.
Note: This plate is made to snap into a factory hole in the dash. If over the years your dash was altered or cut larger this may not work correctly in your application.
Tech Tip: Over the years some of even the factory holes can possibly be a tad larger. By applying a small piece of electrical tape around the clips on the backside of the plate it will allow the cover to sit tighter in a needed situation.
