Haven’t installed the vent yet. Need to remove the upper dash to gain access to all my vents. ButI looked the part over real close and it’s in good shape. My vent surround was cracked bc I tried to pull and replace the vent center. Old plastic gets brittle and was not flexible enough to swap the vent center out with that approach.
Note: I’ve switched to operable vents at all four locations on my ‘87 fj60
